When leadership feels harder than it looks
On the surface, things may look fine. You are capable, experienced and getting on with the job, but internally, it can feel more complicated.
You might be questioning your decisions, dealing with difficult relationships or simply finding that leadership feels heavier than it used to.
I offer a safe, confidential space to step away from the day-to-day pressures, talk things through and work out what feels right for you. I won’t tell you what to do. I’ll listen, ask questions and sometimes challenge your thinking, helping you find your own answers and trust your own judgement.
‘Over the six months we worked together, Fiona took me from 'figuring it out' to confident and clear about what I bring to the table within my first leadership role. The sessions slotted into my busy schedule seamlessly, and it was lovely to fully focus on the conversation knowing that I'd receive comprehensive notes afterwards. Fiona has a brilliant way of keeping you on task whilst creating a supportive environment where I felt able to ask questions and without the pressure to have all the answers. She'll definitely be the coach I'll keep in mind as I move forward in my career.’
Megan Siarey, Delivery and Strategy Lead: Co-Production, Mary Frances Trust
‘When we started working together, I was carrying the weight of every problem and often questioning my own judgement. Through Fiona’s thoughtful coaching, insightful questions and ability to challenge my thinking in a supportive way, I have become much more confident, grounded and self-aware.
She never told me what to do; instead, she helped me discover my own answers and trust my own judgement.
I can honestly say that coaching with Fiona has been one of the most valuable professional investments I have ever made.’
Daniel Brookbank MBE, Chief Executive, East Sussex Vision Support
I’m Fiona. I’m an experienced and qualified coach, MBA graduate and charity CEO with over 25 years of leadership experience.
I know what it is like to lead an organisation, make difficult decisions, manage competing demands and sometimes wonder whether you are getting it right.
That experience matters to my coaching. I understand the pressures that come with leadership, particularly when you are the person others look to for answers and there aren’t always many places where you can talk openly about your own uncertainties.
Sometimes coaching is about working through a particular problem. Sometimes it is about confidence, relationships, boundaries or thinking about what comes next. And sometimes it is simply about having time to stop, think and recognise that you are doing rather better than you think you are.
My approach is warm, practical and straightforward. You can bring whatever is going on for you - you don't need to arrive with a neatly defined problem or know what you want the answer to be.
‘I loved working with Fiona. The coaching sessions came at a point of real transition in my life and it was incredibly grounding to have space to reflect. I came away from each session with new perspectives and accountability mechanisms, which felt really authentic and practical.’
Chrissy Cattle, CEO Irise International
‘Before our sessions, my mind often feels like a tangled mess of spaghetti - jumbled and chaotic thoughts. But each session with Fiona is a powerful opportunity to pause, reflect, and untangle them. Fiona creates a supportive, energising space where I can truly focus on my development and growth. I leave our sessions feeling hopeful and equipped with small, actionable steps to move forward with big ideas. These conversations are helping me interrupt old patterns, reflect deeply, make meaningful changes - and to smile and laugh.’
Carol O’Brien, CEO, Sight Concern Bedfordshire.
‘I wholeheartedly recommend Fiona as a coach. She is compassionate, informed, relatable and straight talking. I gained a huge amount from my coaching sessions and left with renewed focus, confidence and passion.
I would particularly recommend Fiona to any CEOs because her experience and knowledge as a CEO herself really enable her to ask the questions that matter to find the right answers together.’
